Hey everyone! I’m back with another post for the monthly posts and I will be doing a game review! Hope you enjoy!
The game I will be reviewing is a game called Resident Evil 2. It’s a survival horror game in the third person. The game I’m reviewing is a remake of the original Resident Evil 2 that came out in 1998 and I got to say this is one of the best Resident Evil’s ever. There are 24 Resident Evil games and this has got to be one of the best. The graphics are next level. The story is quite spectacular. And the game mechanics?! Beyond amazing.
This game took survival horror games to another level. Having only your body and a willingness to live this game made surviving in a post-apocalyptic world fun. Finding weapons and medical items on the floor to level up your arsenal or finding clues around each and every building to unlock safes and secret passageways made this game one of a kind. The jumpscares from all of the zombies get you going and Mr. X!? The scariest thing in this game. A 6’11”, 300 lbs. man who haunts you from the shadows of the world and travels as stealthily and as fast as a ninja. Finding Mr. X in this game will for sure get you on your feet.
I give this game a 5/5 rating for completely immersing you in its story and giving you the scares you need in your life. If you want a survival/horror campaign game you should definitely get this game. It’s available on PC, Xbox, and PS4 so if your willing to buy this game be prepared to have a thrill!
